Artemis requested sixty of these daughters to serve as her choir.2 In one account, the group arrived at a scene riding on a vehicle equipped with wings.3 Later, the daughters of Oceanus vanished from sight along with Prometheus.4
The Oceanids were playing in a soft meadow.5 They were affrighted by the terrifying appearance of the Cyclopes.6 The maidens could not look at the Cyclopes face to face without distress.6 They also could not endure the loud noise made by the Cyclopes.6 Even the daughters of the Blessed shuddered when looking at the Cyclopes.6
