Short description
Godsunder is a series of turn-based tactical party RPGs set in one world built from real myth. In the first title, Godsunder: Greek Mythos, you play a hero of Greek legend, free the captives, gather a warband of legends and climb toward Mount Olympus, while every god you provoke remembers.
Pitch line
Every hero, monster and god comes from real myth. What happens to them is up to you.
Long description
Godsunder: Greek Mythos is a turn-based tactical party RPG and the first title in the Godsunder series. You play a hero of myth, such as Perseus, Heracles, Theseus, Jason, Achilles, Odysseus, Atalanta or Bellerophon, starting from their own home city. You grow your following not by building units but by freeing captives, winning renown and earning loyalty: companions with their own stories, and a warband of followers who fight at your side in the great set-piece battles of myth.
The heroes you don't choose live on as rivals and possible companions, each bringing their own saga. Each hero keeps their fated deeds, and every other episode of myth is open to whoever gets there first. A layer called Living Mythos makes the world react, writing new quests, places, omens and divine responses around the player's choices, grounded in a catalogue built from the ancient sources. Provoke a god and their pantheon comes for you. The campaign ends with the ascent of Mount Olympus.
Godsunder is set on a single map of the whole Earth, built from real geography. Each title brings one culture's myths to life and is complete on its own; titles a player owns join into one world and one campaign.

About the developer
Godsunder is made by Christian Marvin, a one-person studio in Charleston, South Carolina. He designs the game and runs a production pipeline modelled on how a real game studio is organised, with AI tools doing much of the work under his direction and review. Christian is available for interviews.
