ABOUT
Where Godsunder began
Godsunder began as a tabletop campaign Christian played on his own as a child. Classic adventure modules became loose encounter areas, and a growing army moved through them freeing and recruiting allies: first small groups of villagers, then the captives of giant strongholds, until the army finally faced a demon goddess and her hosts.
Godsunder turns that campaign into a game for everyone, with an original setting built on real-world mythology. Your following still grows the same way: through the people you rescue and the loyalty you earn.
Who makes it
Godsunder is made by Christian Marvin, a one-person studio in Charleston, South Carolina. Christian designs the game, builds the tools and runs a production pipeline modelled on how a real game studio is organised, with AI tools doing much of the work under his direction and review.
He's also the creator of My Wrong Timeline, an animated comedy series produced the same way.
How it's made
Every god, hero, monster and place in Godsunder comes from the ancient sources, catalogued in the game's Mythos Codex. Character designs go through a strict review in which any flaw sends them back, and a strong rule applies throughout: if a player would notice it, it gets fixed. You can read more about how AI is used in the FAQ.
