GRAEA (one of the three Graeae)
Figure of myth · three mythical sisters in Greek myth
Graea, daughters of the sea deities Ceto and Phorcys, stood as a trio of sisters bound by an ancient lineage.1 Both immortal gods and mortal humans knew them by this collective name, distinguishing them within the vast web of divine kinship.1 Two of the sisters are named Pemphredo and Enyo.1 From the very moment of their birth, the sisters bore grey hair, a distinctive mark that set them apart from other beings of the mythic world.1
